Of all the health problems people have come to me for help with over the past 10 years, digestive issues have always been at the top of the list.
This probably isn’t surprising to you, right? Maybe it’s because you’ve battled abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation over the years. Or maybe you own a TV and have watched a plethora of commercials lately on prescription gut meds, probiotics, yogurts with digestive kick, and other over the counter “aids” in the form of anti everything: anti-gas, anti-bloating…you get the picture.
Being a holistic nutritional consultant, here’s where most people would expect me to start listing all of the many food-related reasons to explain the whys behind all of the gut disturbances that seem to plague so many of us.
However, I’m going to go in a bit of a different direction here because there’s something called the “gut-brain connection” that I believe is super important to even sort of understanding why things might bother your stomach from time to time or on a regular basis.
But instead of writing about it, my assistant Kate and I decided to do a 3-part video series on how the gut-brain connection works + practical tips to improve your digestion so you can live a healthy, balanced life—from the inside out! Enjoy 🙂
