These are a few of my favorite things…
For years now, people have asked for ideas on kitchen products I frequently use and highly recommend. And over time, I have suggested products here and there that I use in my own kitchen and love.
So I decided to make it easier for everyone and put together a list of my favorites!
This is the perfect time of the year to check out some great gift ideas for your family and friends…or to add to your own wish list :).
May they make your holidays brighter, your kitchen cleaner and your house full of warmth and love from all of the deliciously “clean” food you can make that much easier.
These little gems are #1 on my list because we could not have produced either of the cookbooks without them. Seriously. This USA Pans 6-Piece Bakeware Set is coated with silicon (instead of teflon) which makes baking super easy because nothing sticks to them and they’re made in the USA. Doesn’t get any better than that folks.
Next we have two products that make cleaning my kitchen SO much easier. And while my husband Kevin would tell you that I don’t use them enough (ha ha), I use them every single day.
In fact I can’t decide which one I love more.
If you have stainless steel in your kitchen or little people
who are obsessed with touching your windows, the
Window Cloth is a definite must-have.
All you do is spray the surface with water (yes water — no chemicals required!) then wipe with the cloth and POOF!
All streaks and fingers prints will disappear before your very eyes.
My other cleaning favorite is called the EnviroCloth. These cloths are equally as wonderful because they remove dust, dirt and grease from all washable surfaces using only water — again without chemicals!
They can actually remove up to 99% of bacteria and pick up and trap dust particles in the cloths until you rinse them out.
Speaking of cleaning, I have a 2-year-old.
There really is nothing more to say, is there?
I think this Dust Buster pretty much speaks for itself.
If you don’t own a Slow Cooker…you are missing out! It’s a necessity if your schedule is hectic and the idea of cooking dinner when you get home is the LAST thing on your mind.
Need some recipe ideas? Check out my Recipe Collections filled with several great slow cooker recipes. Simply throw everything together in the morning and when you get home, dinner is ready.
It’s really quite magical.
These Epicurean Cutting Boards are also an essential in my kitchen. Not only are they eco-friendly and made in the USA, they are also dishwasher safe and do not harbor bacteria.
While this may look like a weapon of sorts, it’s actually called a Mix N Chop. This little guy makes it super easy to chop and crumble food, especially ground beef, turkey and scrambled eggs. Plus it’s safe for all cookware, including nonstick.
Anyone else have a kitchen drawer that looks more like a junk drawer? I came across these Magnetic Measuring Spoons a few years ago and they quickly became my favorite measuring spoons of all time. These babies take up hardly any room and I never have to go searching anymore for the one measuring spoon I could never seem to find!
So do yourself a favor and invest in a good quality (and sharp!) kitchen knife. This Wusthof Knife is my favorite one to use for slicing and chopping. It’s very easy to handle and this brand is one of the best of the best!
Last but certainly not least, this 9-cup Food Processor has made my life so much easier! Since our schedules tend to be rather full most days, I try to make purchases for my home that are both time and life savers…and this one definitely fits the bill!
While it’s true that I make a lot of food from scratch, it’s also true that my daughter Naomi refuses to sit still. If you have little people at home, I’m sure you hear what I’m screamin’. So instead of standing there for what feels like an hour chopping food, I much prefer to let my food processor do it for me!
So there you have it: My Top 10 Favorite Kitchen Things! All of the above products have come in super handy and I’m certain they’ll be great additions to your kitchens as well for years to come! Happy cooking!
