Presenting the third and final video in our Gut-Brain Connection Series. I’m totally amused by the fact that whenever there’s something Kate and I really want people to grasp hold of, one of us almost always gets the chance to experience exactly what we’re talking about firsthand.
Case in point: Kate was in a pretty intense situation recently and boy did it affect her gut. I’ll save you the gory details, but suffice it to say that there was what felt like World War III going on downstairs if you know what I’m saying.
However, we didn’t waste any time wondering why it was happening after rewatching video #3— specifically when she talks about the fact that our intestines are lined with over 100 million nerve cells…more than the number in our spinal cord. Who knew!?
It seems we’re continually reminded of the fact that the gut-brain connection really does exist and we really do need to pay attention to what we’re telling our bodies AND what our bodies are trying to tell us.
